The Work That No Longer Needs You
At first, everything comes back to you.
The questions.
The decisions.
The problems no one else knows how to solve.
Then, slowly, something changes.
A decision gets made without you.
A problem disappears before you hear about it.
Someone else has the conversation.
The work continues.
There can be something unsettling in that.
You spent so long making yourself useful
that not being needed can feel like absence.
But perhaps this is part of the work too.
To build something strong enough
to carry itself.
And to know when to let it.
